For this assignment you are going to create a simple animation, about 30 seconds long, using the Pivot Animator program. When you are done, you will save it as a GIF file.
Make your animation look as natural as humanly possible.
- In other words, try to make it smooth and flowing.
- If you have to, get up and walk around for a few steps to see just how your arms, legs, and other body parts move when you are moving. (It doesn't look quite the way you think it does.)
- When you have some time, talking to your art teacher may be helpful.
- The subject you choose for your animation should be tasteful.
- That means no blood, no gore, no dismemberment, no shootings, etc.
- You should have at least two characters in your animation.
- There should be a story that's told.
- The motion should be smooth and flowing.
- When you are done, save it as a GIF and, in a blog post, post it to Pinheads.ca
The project wil be marked out of 10 points. It will be marked on smoothness of the animation and originality of the storyline (in other words, if you can do something more creativity than a fight scene, you'll do a lot better on the project).
You'll work on this for two classes. |
