Your job for this assignment is to create a three minute stop motion animation. Before you get too far, don't forget you'll need to Storyboard your assignment as described here. What is stop motion animation? It's where an inanimate object like a pen, a doll, or toy soliders, is moved bit by bit with separate pictures being taken after each small movement. The pictures are then brought together to form a video that fools the eye into thinking the inanimate object was actually moving on its own. This project is meant to be fairly simple and is intended to familiarize you with the web camera and the editing software. Use the project to experiment and try different things. Find out how equipment works. This project should take more time than the previous assignment. It should be done in about three weeks. Keep in mind that any images you use, any video clips you add to your presentation, or any sounds you make must be yours or must be in the public domain. In other words the material you use must not be copyrighted. To use copyrighted material without permission is illegal and the assignment will receive a zero. |
